The best part about making mulberry juice is climbing the ladder and shaking ripe berries down... Sing it, Taylor!

We harvested 15 lbs. of mulberries from the bottom portion of four trees (we left the middle and top for the birds).

If you've never had one, a mulberry tastes like honey and is similar to a blackberry. Mulberries have wonderful antioxidants to lower cholesterol, maintain healthy blood sugar and thwart oxidative stress of tissues.

On their own they're great, but when combined with tart cherries, blueberries or strawberries...they send me over the moon! By the way, don't throw away strawberry tops, click here and do this or this instead!)

As of today, mulberry Juice currently sells for $6.99 per 33.8 oz. So yeah, doing the math, we canned $150.00 of juice for free! Woohoooooooo!

Please review guidelines for using boiling water bath canners (NCHFP) if you are new to canning.

Cheers!
