Welcome!

Music Educator, Conductor, Vocalist

With over a decade of classroom teaching experience, Wendy Wiseman has a passion for teaching and performing music. She is currently finishing a Master's in Music Education, and has completed bachelor's degrees in Music Performance Cum Laude (2015) and Social Science (2004).

"We had the privilege of having all three of our children receive individualized training under Wendy's tutelage. She was energetic and encouraging, responding to each of their needs on each one's level, but pressing them to go further. We would highly recommend her work for any who would like to advance in music via piano or voice."

Mrs. Wiseman's professional career began with teaching Middle School History, but her love of music drew her back for a second degree in Music. She worked in North Carolina Public Schools, teaching 450 students weekly, performing with Opera Carolina and Charlotte Symphony Chorus. https://coaa.charlotte.edu/faces/wendy-wiseman/

Notably, Mrs. Wiseman received a district teaching award called I Am CMS for her work in Charlotte, NC Public Schools (2018). She collaborated across the curriculum to connect musical pedagogy to other subject areas, such as literacy and math. https://wendillavontozart.wordpress.com/

Driven by a passion to help all musicians succeed, Mrs. Wiseman directed multiple music camp programs and assisted students though audition preparation, as well as college entry, through her Voice & Piano Teaching Studio (2009-2020).

In 2013, she was awarded first place in The National Association of Teachers of Singing  (NATS) Regional Competition for Women of Continuing Education. Mrs. Wiseman has musical beginnings in radio and church ministry, where she built worship teams and choirs for new church plants, managing and directing all aspects of sacred and contemporary services.

Wendy and her husband  have been married for 28 years and have two grown children. They enjoy spending time together as a family, gardening, hiking and biking the beautiful mountains of Pennsylvania.
